POLYVISION

October 28 – December 24, 2021

Jameson and Thompson Picture Framers is pleased to present an exhibition of photographs, prints and paintings in collaboration with Provincetown’s Schoolhouse Gallery. Jameson and Thompson Picture Framers is Boston’s premier venue for framing, production, conservation, installation, and consulting. The Schoolhouse Gallery has been representing innovative artists and a diverse array of art making practices at its Provincetown gallery space and in a wide range of projects since it opened in 1998.

Polyvision is an exhibit that gathers works from a variety of makers: photographers, painters, printmakers, men, women, individuals, and collaborators, from within and outside the US, to create and exhibition that is both an intersection of various ideas and sets of material responses to environmental circumstances. The exhibition suggests that every system is an ecosystem, that these ecosystems intersect, and that with kindness and determination these intersecting spaces can become public/private experiences that contribute to the necessarily new social architectures being constructed right now by artists and makers in their studios, as well as the innovative venues that chose to host the discussion.
