JOEL JANOWITZ

JOEL JANOWITZ received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, and his MFA in Painting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He taught at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1994-2000, at Wellesley College from 2003-2010, and at the Mass College of Art/low residency MFA program from 2006-2010. In 2008 he received his third individual Artist’s Fellowship from the state of MA. Earlier in his career he twice received artist’s grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. Joel Janowitz has exhibited both nationally and internationally. His work has been collected by numerous museums including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Fogg Museum, Harvard. In 2010 his work was included at Changing Soil : Contemporary Landscape Painting at the Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts in Nagoya, Japan.

BAILEY BOB BAILEY

BAILEY BOB BAILEY has received awards from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Twice a Fellow at The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, he received his MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in sculpture and studied furniture design and woodworking at the Wendell Castle School, in Scottsville, NY. He has exhibited internationally in Australia, at the Melbourne Art Fair and privately in Japan; in New York City, at Proteus Gowanus in Brooklyn; in Hudson, NY at the Carrie Haddad Gallery, in Miami, FL at Art Basel , Miami Beach and at the Farside Gallery; as well as the Gregory Lind Gallery in San Francisco, CA. Bailey had mid-career exhibitions at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum; the Higgins Art Gallery of the Cape Cod Community College and at String Gallery, Wells College, Aurora, NY and was a founding member/owner of artSTRAND, a gallery in Provincetown, MA. He lives in Truro, MA.

DIANA HOROWITZ

Born in New York City, 1958, painter DIANA HOROWITZ earned a BFA from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from Brooklyn College. She has had solo exhibitions at Bookstein Projects, NY, Hirschl & Adler Modern, NY; P.P.O.W., NY; MB Modern, NY; Hackett Freedman Gallery, San Francisco, and Sazama Gallery, Chicago. Group exhibits include the Museum of the City of New York; American Academy of Arts and Letters, NY; National Academy Museum, NY; Bayley Museum of Art, Charlottesville, VA; and the Neuberger Museum of Art.

Her work is included in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum; Museum of the City of New York, New-York Historical Society; Sheldon Swope Art Museum, Terre Haute IN; Hunter Museum, Chattanooga TN; Ballinglen Foundation, Ballycastle Ireland; and the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson. She is a recipient of an Edwin Palmer Memorial Prize, National Academy of Design; Rosenthal Foundation Award, American Academy of Arts & Letters; and grants from the Ingram Merrill Foundation and the Pollock Krasner foundation; and residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell Colony, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, World Views program; and the Ballinglen Fellowship in Ballycastle, Ireland.
